greetings from mexico!

hmmm so to catch you all up what has been going on. Lets start with sunday, sunday we were at church at monte sion in santa ursula, if you think a one hour or maybe 2 hour service is long i encourage you to go to a different country such as mexico. 3 hours WOW! and of course all of it was in spanish. Most of us are coming along on the spanish but still is very dfficult to communicate to others. Sometimes we just laugh at eachother and laugh. definitely a good ice breaker. After church we went to Fransisco´s house for TAMALES! they were so good! very spicy but yummy in the tummy. we also learned that when we were here 2 years ago there was Fransco´s sister was diagnosed with cancer and we found out that she had past away last year. After the tamales we prayed with the family and gave them our blessings. It was definitely a touching afternoon. Then after the wonderful tamales we heading to huixquilucan a good 2 hour drive, slept about an hour there. what a beautiful drive there. There trees are little bit like big brocollis haha. It was a very long ride. When we came to the new location we found out that the church here is only 4 families large and it is nothing like our churches in canada. It is outside with tarps as a roof but it does the trick if it ever rains. We are staying in a beautiful home that is only a 5 minute walk from the church. Yesterday which was monday we started for the VBS which went very well we had about 24 children show up from the community. We were teaching the kids that God is REAL!! YIPPEE! we started VBS at around 9 but we really didn´t start until 10 o´clock. yesterday went well though, then we had some time to spend with God, got a little csun burned on the roof yesterday but that is okay it should turn in to a nice tan. other than that today which is tuesday we had 40 children show up today! PRAISE THE LORD! Today we learned that God is with us and we played games with the children and as well we made clay figures with them. Most of them turned out great. A lot of the girls made butterflies and as we speak we are heading back to the church and one of the Senorita´s is making us tortillas. real tortillas. That is all for today, God Bless Asta luego! (see you later)
